On behalf of the Scientific and Organizing Committee of MAF conference, it is a great pleasure for us to invite you to the International Conference of Methods and Applications in Fluorescence 2024.
The 18th edition of this series of Conferences (MAF2024) will be held at the Conference Centre of Valencia, Spain, from September 8 to 11, 2024. MAF is a prestigious conference which has been held since 1988 and gathers worldwide researchers eager to communicate and discuss in a pleasant atmosphere their recent advances on super-resolution fluorescence microscopy, time-resolved spectroscopy, imaging, design of photoactive molecules to serve as sensors and probes, in addition to the application of photoactive nanomaterials in photonics and optoelectronics, applications ranging from materials research to life sciences, etc. Junior and senior researchers from around the world, as well as journals and industry stakeholders, are welcome to join this amazing conference.
The conference includes plenary and invited lectures, as well as, oral presentations and posters.

The Scientific Committee has selected a fair collection of topics representative of all the active research fields on methods and applications in fluorescence and proposed an outstanding selection of plenary and invited speakers, that honor the prestige of the MAF conference.
Valencia is a friendly and beautiful city that nowadays became one of the most important cities in Spain. The city has been able to successfully mix traditional culture and fine gastronomy with a new vision for the future and respectfully renders tribute to its past while hosting landmark buildings of vanguardism architecture.
We look forward to an exciting time in Valencia, full of science, applications in fluoresence, culture and gastronomy!
